Performing CPR on adult is different than a child or an infant because of their development. Check to see if the scene is safe. Scan the patients chest to see if their breathing. If they aren't tell someone to call 9-1-1. If no one is around you perform comprehensions and after a bit call 9-1-1. Place your hands on top of each other and close one. Place them on the patents chest in between the nipples. While performing comprehensions you push down 2 inches. You must push down 30 times. and count out loud to keep on track. 1 and 2 and 3 up to ten. Once you reached 2 digets don't say and. After 30 comprehensions you must provide 2 breathes. Complete this 5 times or until the AED arrives. The AED is very easy to use. A patch should be applied on the upper left chest and the other one on the right side of their ribs. Their are images on the patches if you forget. Turn on the AED and it will tell you what to do and when to shock the patient. You must be clear and don't touch the patient. Complete comprehensions until paramedics arrive.
