I hop on my bike, my wheels humming softly on the pavement, passing others who are walking or riding alongside me. There is no rush. The world moves slower today, more deliberately. The streets are full of people, but they’re not rushing to their cars or trying to catch a train—they’re enjoying the calm. I catch sight of a bus, but instead of belching smoke, its silently gliding by, powered by the sun. It's a strange day as of all days on earth.

After I ate I had to go school. But I would not be able to get to school. Unless I walked its just school is fifteen minutes away. Then once I got to school I was late. We were already in second period. But If it stays like this it would be very difficult.

I would go to school in nothing my car runs on gasoline Fossil Fuel. I would be homeschool but could not use the electrical stuff in my house. Energy comes from plant Bowen, a coal plant. I would go to sleep and get some energy. Whoops no heat, no heater, no anything. If it was summer still no air conditioner or fans and no fridge working nothing.

Thats when I noticed that nothing was working that used fossil fuels. No energy was found anywhere. I turned on the news and before my very eyes were the words "fossil fuels now gone forever". This triggered lots of people, everyone had to find new ways to cope with the earth. The next week the earth was already so much cleaner. There is a wide variety of negatives, but the earth being cleaner is a big positive.

Last week all of Bartow County had run out of fossil fuels, which was our main source of energy. That morning, I realized something was wrong when I discovered the power had gone out. However, I wasn't worried, I knew that there had been a bad storm last night and that the power would be on soon. Little did I know that I was in a moment that would change the way we use power today.

After I discovered that the power was out, I brought out the emergency box of food. (I made it myself in case of this type of emergency, we get storms a lot in Bartow.) I began eating my cereal and thought everything was okay, I thought wrong.

Then, I got a message on my computer, school was out, not only for the day but for the entire week. It was then that I realized everything isn't okay.

I knew I couldn't panic so I woke my parents up and told them everything that had happened. I knew my life was going to change, but I didn't know what to do.

In the end it worked out. Bartow, along with other counties switched to renewable energy sources. And everyone went about their life like nothing had happened. But I'll never forget the day the lights wouldn't come on.

I woke up and my house seemed dark. It seemed midday, i woke up late.. I went to my car and nothing turned on or worked, i stayed off work since i could not get to it.

today I woke up to my fan being off and tried to go to work and wouldn't you know cars out of gas welp I guess I have a off day.

i was walking outside and got a notification on my phone about fossil fuels are eradicated i played it cool then people went to a rage to break plant bowen since its useless but i was walking next to plant bowen the smoke stacks fell on me.

I went into my kitchen, and my food was ROTTEN. I ate the rotten food though. (yum!)

I tried walking to school, but without fossil fuels, it took me SEVENTEEN HOURS. When I got to school, nobody was there.

I took another seventeen hours to get home.

I ate more rotten food.

I then proceeded to launch every meal I had for the day out from my mouth and onto the carpeted floor. (😁)

I then went to bed, and the next day, I WAS AN ICE BLOCK!
