Summary: Cain and Abel were the first and second sons of Adam and Eve. While Cain was a farmer, Abel was a skilled shepherd who took care of the family's animals. One day Cain and Abel made sacrifices to the Lord to worship and thank Him. Cain brought some of the produce from the land while Abel brought the first born of his sheep. God showed favor upon Abel's sacrifice because it was an offering that came from the best Abel had to give. This made Cain very angry and jealous. Cain lured his brother Abel into the fields and killed him with a rock. The Lord called to Cain asking what happened and after Cain lies about killing his brother, God punishes Cain, but gives him protection from murder.
Setting: Near Eden but not in it as Adam and Eve had been banished from it.
Main Characters:
Cain- The firstborn son of Adam and Eve, a farmer, murders Abel
Abel- The younger of the two, a skilled shepherd who took the offering to
God very seriously, killed by Cain
Adam and Eve- The first man and women, Cain and Abel's parents
Conflict: Cain vs Able (Man vs Man), Able vs God (Man vs God),
Virtues: The forgiveness of God
Vices: The first Murder on earth

Explanation: "Cain" symbolizes faith that doesn't have love combined with it and Abel" stands for charity.

Summary: The Philistine army had gathered for war against Israel. The two armies faced each other, camped for battle on opposite sides of a steep valley. A Philistine giant measuring over nine feet tall and wearing full armor came out each day for forty days, mocking and challenging the Israelite's to fight. His name was Goliath. Saul, the King of Israel, and the whole army were terrified of Goliath. One day David, the youngest son of Jesse, was sent to the battle lines by his father to bring back news of his brothers. David volunteered to fight Goliath. Dressed in his simple tunic, carrying his shepherd's staff, sling, and a pouch full of stones, David approached Goliath. As Goliath moved in for the kill, David reached into his bag and slung one of his stones at Goliath's head. Finding a hole in the armor, the stone sank into the giant's forehead, and he fell face down on the ground. David then took Goliath's sword, killed him and cut off his head. When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran. The Israelite's pursued, chasing and killing them and plundering their camp.
Setting: The Valley of Ellah
Main Characters:

David: Son of Jesse, Shepherd Killer of Goliath,
Goliath: Biblical warrior, Champion of the Philistines, feared by all except David
Conflict: Man vs Beast (David vs Goliath)
Virtues: David's faith in god caused him to look at the giant from a different perspective. Goliath was merely a mortal man defying an all-powerful God.
Vices: Goliath was defying the gods.
Explanations: The battle represents Underdogs vs Favorites, and Good vs Evil.
Example: The 2015 film "David and Goliath" is based on the story and follows David in his effort to beat Goliath.
Fairchild, Mary. “What the Story of David and Goliath Teaches Us About Facing Giants.” ThoughtCo, www.thoughtco.com/david-and-goliath-700211.

One afternoon an old satyr was found sleeping in king Midas’ garden. His guards carried the sleeping creature to king Midas. The King wished that everything is turned into a
yellow gold) that he touches. His food, water, bed, and even daughter all tragically turned into gold. King Midas finally came to the realization that his whole kingdom would turn into gold if he did no retract his wish soon. He begged Dionysus to withdraw his wish.
