   Plot: Mose Abrams finds an alien creature alone and dying in the forest. He Brings it home and cares for it because it looks like its dying.He calls a doctor to help but the doctor can't because it wasn't human.The Alien died. And Mose buried it despite what everyone else thought was right.When Mose buried the alien a plant sprouted and out came a younger, healthier alien. The alien was a loyal companion to Mose until he discovered Moses silver stash. The alien used the silver to mend his ship and both he and Mose kept the remaining silver to remind each other of the sense of companionship they both had.
   Imagery: "It was warm and hard and it had a clean feel to it, and he was reminded of the way a green corn stalk would feel."
   Charictorization:" Despite everything the neighbors said about him, was not the kind of man who could bare to lave a sick thing out there in the woods."
   Images: " He opened his fingers and the little crystal ball lay there in his palm - and it was exactly like the one he found in the slitted flap in the body he had buried in the garden."
