Time: 4.6-4 billion years ago

Life: Widely agreed there was no life during this time due to unhospitable conditions, but there's compelling evidence to suggest there may have been like due to the biogenic (containing organic life martials) footprint in early zircon crystals.

Eon description: One of the earliest times in earth's history, named after the god of the underworld and constantly being bombarded with meteors and asteroids making quite the unhospitable and hot place. During this time a huge asteroid also bashed into earth casing debris to float out into space and rotate around earth and accumulate eventually making the moon.

Geo description: There was volcanoes everywhere and the surface was made up partially of lava brought up from the active convection currents beneath earth's crust. The surface was also effected by the heavy bombardment of asteroids making numerous depressions on the surface. silicon were toward the top and heavier elements like iron would be deep down to the core.

Atmosphere description: The early atmosphere of earth was dense with sulfur because of the constant volcanic activity on it's surface, but also contained elements like escaping hydrogen and helium.

Time: 4-2.5 billion years ago

Life: No complex life forms, First lifeforms being cellular, more particularly , a cellular organism called the Prokaryota that lacks a nuclei.
Eon description: This is the time the early ocean started to form and the earth's crust was mostly cooled off due to an end to heavy bombardment. It's thought that the first life formed in the ocean that was put there by the first clouds. It may be argued that life is thought to form by hydrothermal vents due to their contents being the fundamental building blocks of life; Those building blocks of life being Methane, pneumonia, hydrogen and carbon dioxide.

Geo description: The earth's crust has cooled enough to allow the forming of continents and the precipitation of water. As result of there being water, the water also eroded much of earth's surface, just as it continues to do today.

Atmosphere description: With the atmosphere having been cooled down, it gave rise for new processes to occur like cloud formation and rain. Because of the more hospitable atmosphere, it's believed that there's a good chance life could have formed around this time, and this is because of carbon dated proof of 3.5 billion year old cyanobacteria in fossils. The atmosphere still lacked oxygen so it had a very menacing reddish tint to it.

The start of complex life on earth and the time where the ocean covered more of earth's surface.

Geo description: Plant bacteria started to thrive and produce more oxygen giving rise to new like and oxidizing the surface of earth causing lots of iron to sink into the ocean. Life became more abundant and started to make more of a difference on the geology of the planet.

Atmosphere description: With the arrival of plant bacteria came a massive increase in oxygen, causing there to be an atmosphere that doesn't have the spooky red tint it once had and giving more life a chance to thrive on the precious ingredient of oxygen. Clouds were much more common and made up of different materials as was in the Archean era.

Time: 542 million years ago-Now

Life: Cows, Humans, wolves, donkeys, horses , wholly mammoths.

Eon description: This eon can be split into three eras: The Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras. This Eon started with an explosion of life called the Cambrian explosion. This was so significant that all eons before are referred to as pre Cambrian. A large number of complex life started to populate the land and sea and early ecosystems started to form. Things we all peachy till an extinction level event that happened called "the great dying", wiping out nearly all life on earth. It's said to have either been super volcanoes, an asteroid or a combination of both. With time, Life recovered and eventually the mosaic era came. Dinosaurs started to roam the earth after years of evolution, another asteroid hit the earth once again, wiping out most life on earth. With time, again, life stubbornly recovers and more mammals populated the earth. This era is known as the Cenozoic era and another extinction level event called the ice age happened that killed more life, but yet again, it persisted. Temperature over time rose and life started to flourish again up until a species known as humans started another mass extinction via their means of survival coming at the cost of other life.

Geo description: The geology of the planet was shaped by plants, animals and the extinctions that have happened. The great dying was an asteroid and a super volcano changing the surface. In the Mesozoic era another asteroid hitting and lastly the Cenozoic era with the ice and and the invasive, human made changes to the environment.

Atmosphere description: The atmospheres throughout the eras were varied due to the large number of extinction events that occurred and the effect on life continued to have on the atmospheres after. Just like the Proterozoic eon, Plant life continued to produce oxygen assisting life in it's path toward survival. The extinctions (especially the asteroids) caused deadly atmospheres for life to inhabit, but sense the building blocks and support from other life were still there , it's continued to persist to this day.
