         <title>Water in the Ecosystem</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Water Temperature- The temperature of the water is very warm and the temps range from around 57 F to 79 F. </p><p>Salinity- Our ecosystem has a high salinity, which is caused by the high evaporation rates and limited freshwater input. The average salinity is around 38-39 ppt. </p><p>Movement- There are very slow currents and deep-water circulation.</p><p>Depth- Our ecosystem has varying depths, from shallow coastal areas to deeper regions reaching over 4000 meters.</p><p>Color- The water color of our region is typically very clear, deep blue, especially in open ocean areas, but in coastal areas can appear greener.</p>]]></description>

The upper zone is called the euphotic zone which gets the most sunlight and then goes to the dysphotic zone which gets much less sunlight and then lastly the aphotic zone which gets little to no sunlight.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Food Web if all Primary Consumers went extinct</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>If all primary consumers went extinct there would be a disruption in the energy flow of our ecosystem. There would be too many producers because the consumers are not there to eat them and keep the food chain stable. That would lead to the fish and marine life of upper trophic levels to struggle to find food.</p>]]></description>
