Some social implications for Folk Rock are that due to the lyrics and messages that the songs where displaying, there was a lot of activisim and change attemping to be done. As well as Bob Dylan plugging in, now this was huge for people becuase is was such a sudden change from his regular guitar to an electric guitar which is what people where used to for his type of music. This implicated a change of music, his music, and Fold Rock was considered part of the status quo, until it was changed and then it was not.

Some social implications for Psychedelia type of music was of how big this type of music actually was, althought it was hated by many becuase of what it stood for, but activism was at its peak during this time and the music was apart of that. There were also several other movment involving Psychedelia like Womens Rights, The Civil Rights moment and other implications like that. Espiecally during music festivals and concerts this music would be very popular, not for everyone though, but it was very part of the status quo, soley becuase of the time that it became popular, of what was happening in the world.

But then came their concept albums, which are ablums that are meant to be listened to a whole for a deeper meaning and not many people actually enjoyed these albums. Mature pop was not really part of the status quo due to the amount of people that found it a but weird and not revelent to make.
