         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><br></div><div>Objects (such as liquid water) containing electrically polar molecules that oscillate freely can be microwaved. When these objects are placed in the space of microwave propagation, the direction of electrically polar molecules in the objects (especially water molecules, which can strongly respond to microwave) will vibrate with the oscillating electric field under the action of microwave electromagnetic field of 2.45GHz, which is usually used in microwave ovens. The inherent electromagnetic field of one molecule will be changed and affect neighboring molecules. So the vibrations of molecules are transferred from molecule to molecule, and the vibrations of molecules are internal energy, and increasing internal energy is heating, and microwave energy increases internal energy in a substance, which is heating the substance. Although non-electrically polar molecules also produce some displacement polarization due to electric fields, this in itself contributes little to internal energy. Some foods have free electrically polar molecules in them, so they can be heated directly by microwaves. Other foods can also be microwaved indirectly through water as long as they are evenly mixed with water. In addition, it is said that microwave heating is the result of molecular resonance, which is wrong. The resonant frequency of water molecules is above 1THz.</div>]]></description>
