-A tax on all sugar and molasses imported into the colonies. Made to raise revenue from the colonies to pay for England’s debt.

-A border imposed by the British to prohibit colonists from settling pass the Appalachian Mountains. It was set to resolve conflict between the Natives and colonists, but also to keep colonist along the coast where the British can control them.  

-A meeting between 9 colonial delegates that discussed the over taxation England imposed on the colonies. The delegates acknowledged Parliament's right to make laws but argued the colonies should vote for their own representatives to make taxes.

-Repealed the Stamp Act but declared Britain’s right to make any laws they see fit in the colonies. Angered colonists because they feared this meant more unreasonable taxes and laws would come.   

-A tax introduced by Charles Townshend on all tea, glass, paper, and paints in the colonies. The tax was imposed to pay for the salaries of governors and judges in the colonies. 

First bloodshed of the american revolution. Crowd of colonists protested against the presence of British troops and would lead to the death of 5 colonists. 

British schooner that accidentally ran aground near Rhode Island. A crowd originating from the town boarded the ship, removed the crew and burned the vessel. This led to the creation of the Gaspee commission which bypassed the courts of Rhode Island

The sons of liberty dressed in native apparel would dump hundreds of chests of tea to protect the passing of the Tea act of 1773. They were warned by Samuel Adams prior to the event taking place. 

The first shots fired in the Revolutionary War, near Boston. It would result in the death of approximately 100 minutemen and 250 British soldiers.
