Florence’s work is very beautiful I feel like there’s more of a religious background to her work though, her work tends to end up on Christmas cards more than fairytales. I love the style she makes these illustrations, they look more animated than a live form of art, it’s more detailed in the fairies than the background which is much more simple. I love how the fairies are dressed and the way the wings were made.

In an article Emma says that she was inspred by underwater creatures, she created a collection that translates organic animal shapes and their opacity into wearable clothing. I want to recreate this type of fabric manipulaion as it reminds me of fairy wings and looks flowy and lught. This is also very sculptural in places, so i will interpret this into my work and make a sample.
