The fort was made to withstand a long siege.in the temple a sacrificial human offering was made to the warrior goddess because the fort kept collapsing and a person suggested a human offering, they cut thy cut the head of a person and rolled it across the fort were the head stopped was were they built the main temple for the fort it has 38 octagonal pillars around it. Now Kumbhalgarh Fort, India has become a popular tourist attraction with rooms to stay overnight in.
