This old market used to be the worst looking building around. But now it has new owners and is popping off with a brand new face lift. What was once an old corner store/market is now a professional location of business just 4 blocks from campus. At the time of the closing of this facility, their were a lot of homeless people that accumulated near this store. Making the neighborhood and community less nice.

Church and busy road

Located just nearby is a St.Paul church. This gives the community a cozy and quaint vibe to it. As we all know, Utah has a lot of churches, so this is just one of many. With that being said, right across the street is a gas station that tends to be busy. My neighborhood offers a diverse set of options. This is a good thing and also a bad thing. With my neighborhood being so close to the University of Utah it tends to get very busy from the rush of students and faculty.

Gas Station

Right across the busy street from the Church, you will find a gas station. This is one of the finest gas stations in the land. With gas prices (currently) back down it gives the neighborhood the option to fill up and grab a snack. With the family friendly staff you can guarantee a good trip every time. Sometimes when the road is really busy it can be hard to pull in and out. But I think that is a manageable trade off for being so close to the University. And that is something all my neighbors would agree on as well.
