At first they didn't let her go because anything could happen. When her parents actually do let her go there is violence. This shows us that her parents knew it could be risky to bring her there but they wanted to show her what they stood for and to defend her rights as a woman.

During this time though these clothes were forbidden and dangerous to wear for you could get brought to the committee of the revolution where you could be there for days or weeks. In this scene Marji gets stopped by one of the guardians of the committee. They are confessing their love for each other although it is dangerous because their families are against each other. Here Juliet is saying she would rather love Romeo then be a Capulet and that her name is the enemy and not his. This shows us that they are prepared to do anything for their love even if it tears their families apart.
