Complete darkness and death. My town Smokeville is filled with the worst people that contribute to the darkest crimes and actions. I'm Samuel Jason and this is my home. I live in the house next door to my love of my life. Yet i'm just the boy next door to her. and i don't matter in her life. Her name is Emma Sparks, and I'm taking her on our first date to the only safe place in town. The Easy Cheese Pizza Shop, where everyone comes to bond and remember what things used to be like. You see things used to be really good in Smokesville until the town got a new mayor. Mayor Lockwood. He and his wife Mrs. Lockwood have darkened the town and have made rules about us not being able to re-vote him out of office. I arrive at Emma's House and ring the doorbell. She just ran out the door opened the car door and jumped in. I was standing there in shock, Are you coming, she said. Um yeah, i shut the door and got in the car like nothing happened. Well how do i look, said Emma. You look good, I said. Thank the lord i was rushing through all my clothes trying to find something to wear. You rushed through your clothes? I asked, you mean you were looking forward to this. Shut up and drive, she said. OK, I started driving and we arrived at the Pizza shop, I got out and opened her door, she said thanks and i just stared into her bright blue eyes. I was mesmerized by how she looked, Hey Sam we going in or not.
