When I was in the fourth grade my teacher noticed that I was passing the reading tests at the same rate as the other students. She put a chair outside of the classroom, had me sit down and read aloud to myself. Once she did this, I caught up with all the other students. From that moment I realized that I was an auditory learner. In 2010, when I enrolled in college for the first time, I had a professor that made us take a learning style test. My results were auditory as well, I wasn’t surprised but when I study I must read aloud to myself to truly comprehend the material that I was presented with.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed ServeSafe, I particularly like the videos and the examples that they give. The concept that confused me the most was the regulations of the amount of time that different types of food can sit out. There are a lot of different increments such as 2 hours, 4, hours, 6 hours, etc.... keeping them all in line was difficult and required more studying.
