In the first chapter D has a encounter with his dad (or maybe it was a dream!?) and it was kind of creepy about how the mother didn't want him to see D. From this and the preface I assumed that this was going to be a sci-fi type book. However, then you masterfully create this conflict between D and Keem about them both liking the same girl and I start to wonder if the genre is actually Romance. Why did you do that?

My favorite part in your book BIRD when Marcus said do what I say and not what I do because Marcus does drugs but bird did not know towards the end. The saddest part was when Marcus died. The second saddest part was when granddad died.
