The Americans were not justified in taking this land from the Native Americans. As the chief of the Shawnee tribe says, "The white people have no right to take this land from the Indians, because the Indians had it first." Manifest Destiny is the belief that we had this right, and is not listed in Bill Of Rights. The Native Americans had settled on this land for thousands of years and had claimed this land before the Europeans had came to America. If this was agreed with by the Native Americans, than this would be okay, but the Europeans went and killed all of them. In conclusion, the Americans were wrong in taking the Native's land.

I believe the Americans (colonists) were NOT justified. I believe this because they were taking away the Native American's land. The Native Americans had been living on that land for thousands of years. The Americans (colonists) had not been there for more than 50 years at most and were taking the Native American's land. In my opinion, that was unjustified, perhaps even unconstitutional!

The americans were just caring about what would be good for they country and the didnt care about other countries. The idians had there land for probaly 100 years. It was totally not write for the americans to take all there land

No the United States was not right in kicking out the Native Americans to go west. This was rude because when it became part of the states the Native Americans lived there for years and years and they should have the right to stay there. They were doing very well with everything. How would you feel if your ancestors made the land and someone comes and steals it away from you. That is not right at all. America made this bad decision that changed the lives of people.

I believe the United states and the native americans were put in a very unjustified place. Instead of trying to form a bond with the Natives, they instead had tried to get them to leave. This, I believe, would be a very heinous crime. Though, the Americans had bought the land, which made them now own the land. How were the Americans supposed to know the natives were there before they bought the land? Did France know these people lived on the land? So in all, I believe both sides could have worked a settlement out, but that did not happen, as blood was spilt in wars Natives and Americans.

I only think that they should stay because they have been on that land for over 100 of years. It is unfair for the Indians who were there longer. I know that if this was me and i was the Indian i would not give up with out a fight because that would be unfair. I think that america was wrong to be taking away these people land i think that since we took there land that then they could live in it.

The United states was not complety justified in taking land from the Native Americans. The Americans wanted to expand outwards, but the area was ocupied by many Native Americans, the Amercans wanted to make their country bigger to have more natural resources and more land for farms and people. As the Americans expanded outwards, the number of Native American tribes and villages decreased. From this, the Americans gained more land but also took away from Native Americans.

The Native Americans would not be able to have their own property without the United States taking their stuff/land. In my opinion I think that it just wasn't right for the United States to take the Native Americans land because that is like someone coming into your house saying that they are going to be taking your house. Which isn't right, if they want to just live their life in peace.

In my personal opinion I think that the United states were right in taking the Native Americans land because even though the Natives were there first the Young United states had to grow. The New land would provide the US with many resources and lots of land for farmers to expand their land. The Young Unites states had lots or resources and they needed more so that everyone could stay happy and healthy. The Native Americans could have just stayed on the land because they were really nice and they made many items that were really useful. The US had many reasons for buying this land and The Natives could have just simply stayed.
