I'm reading "Once Upon a River" by Diane Setterfield. This novel reads like a fairy tale. It takes place in the late 1880s. So far, a 4 year old girl is found floating in the Thames River. She is taken to the Swan Inn at Radcot in England. She is a bit of a mystery as she was pronounced dead after not having a pulse or heartbeat for over 2 minutes. She is nursed to health and several suitors come to claim her as their child. Herein lies the mystery. I think there's something spiritual happening, though. Like, she's the long-gone ghost daughter of the river watchmen sent out to make peoples' lives better in different ways.

The book I read is called Truth Like The Sun By: Jim Lynch. It takes place in Seattle, Washington. It’s like a cat and mouse story in Seattle during 1964 when Seattle hosted the world fair and in 2001 when the Microsoft gold rush was going on. All in all I think this book has a great meaning and it really tells you the culture of Seattle. I would recommend.
