Master of Arts in Mental Health and Wellness

A personal goal of mine is to become organized with the abundant information I obtain and use during my graduate year. This will consist of organized folders in Google Drive, articles saved in Google Scholar, a library of books, and/or websites such as this Padlet.  

A professional goal of mine is to continue researching the latest treatments and effects of mental illness. I plan to enroll in the LPC bridge program and pursue a counseling position in rehabilitation or working with adolescents.

This course is interesting and fascinating! I look forward to the upcoming assignments! Intro to Trauma has gained my research interest in trauma-related therapy and I plan to continue my studies on various trauma and crisis.

After reading, reviewing and watching a lot about trauma, I realize I enjoy it. It's the excitement, amazing facts that follow trauma that keep me interested. I know I have experiences with trauma and I feel great empathy for the people who encounter trauma.
