Narrator:
One day, a mighty lion was sleeping in the forest when a tiny mouse ran across his paw.

Mouse: (squeaky, nervous)
"Oh no! I didn’t mean to wake you up! Please don’t eat me!"

Lion: (gruff, amused)
"Ha! You are so small. What could you ever do for me?"

Mouse: (hopeful)
"Maybe one day, I can help you!"

Narrator:
The lion laughed loudly but let the mouse go.

(Later that day…)

The lion was walking through the forest when—SNAP!—he was caught in a hunter’s net.

Lion: (struggling, frustrated)
"ROAR! Someone help me!"

Narrator:
The tiny mouse heard the lion’s roar and hurried to help.

Mouse: (determined)
"Don’t worry, Lion! I will chew through the ropes!"

Narrator:
The mouse nibbled and gnawed until… the lion was free!

Lion: (grateful, surprised)
"Thank you, little friend! I see now that even the smallest creature can help a mighty lion!"

Narrator:
And from that day on, the lion and the mouse were the best of friends.
