This website is an online conversational tool allows you to place collections of media--images, videos, documents, and presentations at the center of an asynchronous conversation. You can log into your Voice Thread and make comments using any mix of text, a microphone, a web cam, a telephone, or uploaded audio file.&nbsp; When you click on the VoiceThread link, above, click on <strong>Register</strong> to create a free account.          <description><![CDATA[<div>This week, I would like to introduce the website called,  '<a href="http://www.wikispaces.com/">Wikispaces' </a><br><br>This is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to create a wiki that you can share with your students. Wikis can be small or large; they can be private and shared with only your students or they can be private.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>&nbsp;</strong><a href="https://www.youtube.com/editor"><strong>YouTube Video editor https://www.youtube.com/editor</strong></a></div><div><strong><br>You can use Video Editor tools to put together clips to create new videos and publish them to YouTube with one click. All of your uploads are added automatically to the Video Editor. Some of the things you can do with Video Editor are: Combine multiple videos and images you've uploaded to create a new video, trim your clips to custom lengths, add music to your video from a library of approved tracks, and customize clips with special tools and effects.</strong>&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I attached a student-focused handout below.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/editor">https://www.youtube.com/editor</a></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><strong>I explored the website, Google Slides (</strong><a href="https://www.google.com/slides/about/"><strong>https://www.google.com/slides/about/</strong></a><strong>).</strong></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>While it is not as robust as PowerPoint, Google Slides is a free presentation app that is centered around collaboration. With Google Slides, more than one person can work on a presentation at a time.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br>I’ll introduce Plickers, <a href="https://www.plickers.com/">https://www.plickers.com/<br></a><br></div><div>Plickers is a simple online tool that lets teachers collect real-time formative assessment data without the need for student devices.</div><div><br>The teachers can use Plickers for quick checking to know whether their students are understanding big concepts and mastering key skills. It can give all students the chance to participate and engage in learning without feeling self-conscious. Students don’t have to wait to log in on a computer or even open the right app. Plickers seamlessly integrates into the way the teachers already teach with.</div><div><br>Here is a handout for students.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

VoiceThread is a more humane way to connect. It is used by everyone from elementary students to universities students and corporate executives. It’s easy to learn and powerful enough for people’s most complex projects. People don’t have to write their conversations into their calendar. They can collaborate wherever and whenever it’s convenient for them.
