The One Safe Place fits in propaganda or control and adventure. It fits in adventure because when Devin left the farm to find the city his grandpa told him about, when Kit and Devin went to the home, and when Devin and Kit left the home after turning the lazers off on the post so they had an escape route. When they get to the home that's where we see propaganda or control show up. I see more control than anything in this novel. It fits that element because of how things are ran and how the children are treated there.

My older brother Jai because it's really interesting that they got put in a safe place even tho it ain't safe so Devin a Kit made new friends there but before all of that Devins grandad died so he went to a city and after that they made a new plan for escaping the house so when they made the plan they were succeeded and kit burned the place down and went back to the farm were Devin and his friends started to rebuild the place and that's were Devin started from the beginning

What made the novel fun to read was the amount of action they put into the novel. Also the amount of attention grabs it throws out at you to keep you hooked. like when Devin had to set out for the city, Devin meeting Kit, when they met Roman, at the safe place, and everything that they throw at you in the novel. I would say the ending of the book in chapter 26 from page 276-295 is the most attention grabbing too me.

I would recommend this book to students freshman and up. I don't believe this novel is for middle school student with how many serious situations are in this novel. It's for more mature students/people.

1) Do you wish you didn't leave the farm?

(Because why wouldn't he just stat and do what he was able too.)

2) Why did you give the boy your locket of your grandparents?

( Because he didn't have to give it away.)

3) Why did you trust going to the home (safe place)?

( Because they could have stayed in the city on the streets surviving on their own.)

I want them to get to the farm and live out a happy life all together. They deserve it because of all they've be through at the safe place. Grow up and forget about the safe place they once knew but would forget.
