         <description><![CDATA[<div>The climate during the time period for Cretaceous was mostly warmer and it was much more steamy than today because of the levels of Vulcan formed.<br>The land where mostly covered by forest.<br>Over all it was warmer almost everywhere, and the animals lived even where it was cold. The weather was much more warmer and colder than how we have it in our lives today. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The landmass pangea had already started to separated millions of years ago before the last time period Cretaceous and the ocean levels were much more higher. Some continents that we have today was covered by the Ocean under this time, you can say that the ocean ruled everything. <br>While the continents continued to move further apart from each other and shape our earth how it looks today, the Atlantic ocean had already been formed.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The dominant species of land animals were mostly Hardrosaurs dinosaurs, but even Shantugosaurus. And as well Triceratops dinosaures and other dinosaurers with horns.  And as well for the Tyrannosaures Rex was the dominant specie during the Cretaceous period all the time until the end. <br>The dominant dinosaurs was mostly likely to be the meat eating dinosaurs and the most dominant amoungs those was the Tyrannosaures Rex and the other species like those who eats plants where becoming less dominant. <br>(pictures shown beside, the blue ones)</div>]]></description>

         <title>3. What was the major event?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The major event that happened during the Cretaceous time period and between the Paleogene period was the big extinction that occurred when an asteroids striked the earth in 10km/h, when the asteroid hit the earth it started an big impact. The impact of the asteroid caused the earth a big and a very massive tsunami and it also triggered other rocks from the space to enter the atmosphere and they where very hot. <br>Those hot rocks that started to fall from heaven caused the global temperature to raise and on land it started to get really hot. Multiply groups of dinosaurs died out, about 80% of all the dinosaurs species went extinct by this big event. <br>Your probably wondering why those 20% other percentage of the dinsaurs species didn't die out as well if this event was so major. That's because most of the species that went extinct was too big to even fit in to any shelter that they might have found, so they either died from the massive heat wave that occured or they where hit by the  meteorites/rocks. And the other 20% that weren't extinct during this event was much more smaller and they could actually fit in to different types of shelters that they could find. The smaller dinosaurs like mammals, turtles, birds and so on, found shelters in caves or under water or in a tree hole. But just because they could take shelter from the rocks didn't mean that they would actually survive this event. If they had survived this first without dying, they had many other phases to survive later on. They needed to survive the extremely hot temperature as well that was one of the impacts of the asteroids, and they needed to feed on something as well. How they may have been able to survive is probably because they were feeding of the dead body's of the other dinosaurs that didn't had a chance to survive, or they feed on decomposing fungi or plants.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The land was mostly covered by forest and there where much more vulcanos formed.<br>The continents massive landscape called Pangaea had started to drift apart. During the Cretaceous period the shapes of the continents were starting to be recognised at the earth we have today, that's because the continents was still breaking apart from each other. Africa had already break up with south America and started to slowly drift towards Europe, while Europe and North America started to drift further and further away from each other, the Atlantic ocean had already been formed. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The break up of the continent Pangea had continued to spread during the Jurassic time period and it continued to spread as well in Cretaceous time period. Which lead to incensed regional differences in both plants and animal life between Northern and southern continents. <br>The end of Cretaceous time period was the result as the life now exist on earth came together. That's because of 80% of all the bigger dinosaur's died out expect for the 20% of the smaller animals like, birds that survived and that resulted in that they had to start taking the leading and take the next position the dinosaurs that was in the leading before they went extincted.</div>]]></description>

And I can find the same things in other articles as well. This source answered a lot of these questions.<br>Trustworthiness, I think that you could trust this article very much because I can find almost the same information on other article as well and they do not talk about something else in this. They are linking some words so you can klick on them and read more about it if you don't understand.
