- While writing positive feedback is always a boost in the writing because it lets use writers know where we need to improve and or how to write transitions.
- Where she explains where she would count off to see what paragraphs she was going to read was how I remember doing it back in middle school because I was always so eager to read
- Reading and responding to classmates papers was a big help because their was some student who actually gave thought and would put post it notes letting us know mistakes or misspelled words.
- making connections that would lead to inferences presented was always the fun part and easy to write about
- I like where she talks about how the process she did made it flow smoothly and made her writing feel natural.

-In the section 'a place to react' he talks about how it gives us a place to react to our world, to make all-important personal connections and I know when I connect from real world to personal it is always an ongoing writing to write about.
- I agree writers need to write for a specific purpose, it leads to important points and becomes meaningful.
- "Four large signs hang prominently our room" Never have seen that, interesting
- "the pump" states how one way to encourage writers to write is inviting them to write regularly"
- The General Tips section is a really good informal section where it talks about how you pretty much just free write, get your journal and write write write

- Where the author states how she went home and was questioning herself whether she even knew how to teach is how I always think about if my first day or week doesn't go as planned.
- How she never gave up is a big inspiration
- This story has gave me points and information to take in incase I go through the same cause
- The Observations are great, I like the idea of how they're writing
- She handled her first year of teaching so well, this story gives a start to end on how things go on in real life. This is how I literally picture my first year going and going home frustrated/upset sipping wine to deal with the headaches.
