Many daycare centers and child care centers in Sacramento have a wait list, however Child Action avoids the wait list by funding the child care on behalf of the organization. Families are then able to set up a payment plan (if needed) with Child Action themselves. Child Actions helps families apply for the "Childcare Eligibility List" which allows multiple different subsidized agencies to obtain the family's information to provide the quickest financial assistance with child care costs. They also provide free workshops for families and children to attend, some of which are virtual currently due to COVID-19.
