I am at the story where a landlord tricks a Hispanic grandma into signing ownership of their house that they have had for multiple generations over to him to exploit and try to take advantage of them by finding any reason to kick them out of the house. However, the house has a very dark secret hiding in their basement and that secret is why they've had this house for generations.

I am at the story where a Korean girl who works at a Chinese food place goes out with her rich white friends to an abandoned public garden where her boyfriend forces himself on her but he hears something which gives her the chance to hit him and run. She runs away and hides in some shrubbery and when they can't find her they leave and she goes home, however, her boyfriend realizes that he forgot his phone at the garden so he goes by himself to retrieve it and that's when he encounters a ghost girl who had witnessed his actions and she kills him for it.

I am at the story where we are reading from the perspective of a haunted house and the haunted house talks about the history of his residents and how they only want someone they could love and someone who could love them back. It is a story from the 2nd point of view and they tell the story about their most recent residents and they talk about how they seemed different from all the other residents and that they had hope for the first time that these people would be the ones who would actually love him and have him a part of their family.

I am currently reading The White Guy Dies First by Terry J. Benton-Walker. I am still on the story about the haunted house wanting a family who could love him. I'm at the point where the house gets angry that his new residents want to leave him so he releases the ghosts of all the people who have died at this house in order to try and stop them from leaving him but the family finds a way to escape from the house by getting some gasoline that was in the backyard shed and burning the house to the ground before shortly running away.

I am currently reading The White Guy Dies First by Terry J. Benton-Walker. I am at the last story where two girls hear about legends of a horrific creature in an abandoned part of the south called the Gray Grove. They are after this monster because they have a shared podcast where they talk about spooky things and want to catch this creature on camera for the world to see. The legend started from the story of a black teenager who was getting bullied by a white teenager before the town was abandoned years ago and, one night the white teenager decided that he was going to kill the black teenager because he said that he stole his bike. After a long chase the black teenager ended up in a dead end with no way to run, he thought he was dead until the creature from the Gray Grove appeared and engulfed the white teenager right before he was about to strike, leaving the black teenager alone with a story no one else will believe.
