Students who are members of this club were included in the project by paying attention to the safety rules. Our project coordinator Yeşim ULUSOY has previously received training on internet safety, eTwinning ethics, media literacy and disinformation. Yeşim ULUSOY held an information meeting for the project team of our school about the safe use of the internet. At the meeting, she informed our students about how safe internet use should be and what should be considered. While they were informed about safe internet use, students were informed about media literacy, which is defined as a statement that covers all technical, cognitive, social, civic and creative abilities that enable citizens to access the media, have a critical understanding and interact with the media. Clearly expressed disinformation is defined as false and misleading information that is created, presented or disseminated, which may cause harm to the public, with the aim of gaining economic profit and deliberately deceiving the public.
