As part of this Wordwall activity students had to answer general questions about chapters 5-7 of the book Comhcheilg Pháirc an Chrócaigh. This activity was completed at the beginning of a lesson to refresh students memory before moving on to the next section of the book.

The activity was shared with students using a QR code. Students used their iPad to scan the code and complete the activity.

This Mentimeter was used to ask students their opinion about their understanding of the main events of chapters 1-8 of the book Comcheilg Pháirc an Chrócaigh, their enjoyment of the book and the level of difficulty of language in the book. The results of this Mentimeter showed me that while most students had a good understanding of the plot and enjoyed the story, most also found the languaged quite difficult. This allowed me to plan for additional activities to support students in understanding the language in the book, such as pre-tasks using key vocabulary from the upcoming chapter
