I easily get used to German people, their culture and ways of living. I love riding my bike to the university and to the bar at evenings. I got the opportunity to travel around a country which I didn't know was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

I'm gonna miss my lifestyle here because going back to Barcelona means responsibilities and obligations that I left behind this semester. I feel the same anxious feeling as when I go to a different country and I don't wanna go back BCN. 

I've grown up on a personal level because again I made decisions (very important to me: me making my own decisions) like getting out of my comfort zone, meeting people on my own or going alone to foreign bars to practice my German. 

Before my Erasmus, I thought that it would be hard to get to know people because it is a small city and I would have troubles with language. But already in the first two weeks I’ve met a lot of people who’ve been making my Erasmus amazing. We also travel a lot around the country and know other sites. I also thought that it would be hard to speak German. But, in fact, with help from my friends it was a lot easier than I expected and I was able to have a conversation in German fast.

Dortmund airport is about 60 km from Münster. 

Taking the coach or regional train, one arrives at Münster main railway station in about 90 minutes (www.dortmund-airport.de).

Düsseldorf International Airport is about 120 km from Münster. There is a regular direct train connection

Buses departing from Münster main railway station will take you to all parts of the city. Timetables are

each semester (approx. € 240). For this you receive a semester ticket entitling you to free use of public transport all over North Rhine-Westphalia. The Semesterticket is not valid on high-speed trains (IC and ICE). The Deutsche Bahn (DB) frequently offers good deals that can save you up to 50% on the ticket price. Students under 27 can buy a Bahncard 50 (50% discount on all fares) for half the normal price.

Münster is connected by a number of long-distance coaches (buses). It's possible to travel from Münster by coach to Berlin, Hamburg, Köln and other cities.

It is an outstanding place to live, work, learn and research. It is a place where urban culture, municipal diversity and first-class rural recreation intersect and have a mutually enhancing effect.
