In this school, we have been doing kapahaka. Kapahaka is a huge part of my life and culture. It has impacted us in the sense that we know what to expect in our lives and how to treat others. We can respect others cultures by being open to them and keeping an opinion to yourself if you know it's harmful. You can also be engaged in their different beliefs and traditions to seem respectful and understanding.

In Samoan we greet other people differently to other cultures we greet them the way theye wanted to we offer them a lollie layer whic is a necklace with lollies around it we also offer them a drink which is called a cava. The most important about greeting people is that we do a little siva which is a samoan dance this is so they feel welcome. We welcome our people as they are our family moving into a new home.
