What I know:
-The first significant event at Kosovo was the Kosovo battle in 1389. between Serbia and the Ottoman empire
-The Serbian ruler at the time of the Kosovo battle was Prince Lazar, who led the Serbian army into battle. He was killed in the battle of Kosovo.
-The leader of the Ottoman empire, Sultan Murat, was also killed in the battle of Kosovo by Serbian Milos Obilic.
-There is a very old Monastery in Kosovo, Built in 1310 by the Serbian Saint King Milutin. Many parts have been destroyed and since rebuilt, but almost all of the frescoes from the 14th century remain intact.
-The Area Kosovo is actually named after a small field called Kosovo field, meaning "Blackbirds field" in Serbian.
-On the Kosovo field, there is a large tower, built somewhere in the 20th century, to commemorate the Kosovo battle.
-On this tower is written, in Serbian, a curse from the time of the Kosovo battle, it is unknown who wrote it, and it has been passed down:

Whoever is a Serbian and of Serbian birth

And of Serbian blood and heritage

And comes not to the Battle of Kosovo,

May he never have the progeny his heart desires!

Neither son nor daughter

May nothing grow that his hand sows!

Neither red wine nor white wheat

And let him be cursed from all ages to all ages!
-The battle of Kosovo was on the 15th of June, but this was on the Julian calendar, which would now be the 28th of June by the Gregorian calendar.
- This day is called "Видовдан" or Vidovdan in English.

- There was another war at Kosovo in 1998-1999
- The North Atlantic Treaty Organization bombed Serbia, destroying many buildings and some railways I think, and an Albanian terrorist group killed many innocent Serbian people and forced Serbians out of Kosovo, so that they could claim it, Kosovo being a very strategic location in Europe.
- Kosovo is now mostly inhabited by Albanians, most of them very hostile towards Serbians.
-It has since decared independence from Serbia, but in Serbian mindset it will always be a part of Serbia, and there is graffiti and posters saying "Kosovo is Serbia".
-A few armies from around the world have made army camps in Kosovo, including NATO and Italy.
-There is a lot of propaganda about Kosovo, such as it being friendly (I myself experienced hostility from the Albanians in Kosovo), and it being a great place to live, although it is very poor.
-Another advantage of claiming Kosovo is that it has a very good mine, with a lot of natural wealth under the ground.

Things I want to know:
