The Trojan War started after the Trojan prince Paris abducted Queen Helen. Helens husband, Menelaus, made his brother, Agamemnon lead a journey to retrieve her.
The major parties involved in this war were the early Greeks and the people of Troy (in western Anatolia).
The Trojan Horse was a wooden horse used by the Greeks to enter the city of Troy to hopefully win the war. The Trojans pulled the horse into their city, believing it was a victory trophy. That night, the Greeks inside of the massive wooden horse exited and destroyed the city.
The Greeks ended up winning the war after the deception that was the Trojan Horse.
Achilles, Agamemnon, Menelaus, Odysseus, etc. were the great heroes of the war.
Source of Information (Website URL):
https://www.history.com/topics/ancient-greece/trojan-war?scrlybrkr=41ca9810#
https://www.britannica.com/event/Trojan-War
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trojan_Horse?scrlybrkr=41ca9810
https://www.britishmuseum.org/blog/myth-trojan-war#:~:text=The%20Greeks%20finally%20win%20the,up%20battle%20and%20sail%20away.
https://www.thecollector.com/trojan-war-heroes/
