There are so many causes of pollution, which could be divided into 3 types. The first is the discharge of chemical industry, which might devote 70% of polluted gas and water. The second is the transportation, vehicles, planes make a number of types of waste gases, which may cause more than 50% of lung cancers in China, according to some research. The last one is nuclear, since the nuclear plants become much safer than it used to be, and it seems impossible that a nuclear war happens in recent years, I suppose that the formal two types of causes are much more serious than the last – nuclear.

1、How to protect endangered animals?

These are some measures to protect endangered animals. First, We must believe that we can not live on the earth without animals and we should live in harmony with animals. Second, It’s urgent to build some nature reserve or zoo to protect endangered animals. At last, we also can improve animal protection law and system.

2、Causes of pollution

We only have one earth. So it’s very important for us to protect environment where we live. But the environmental pollution is still very serious. There are several main causes of pollution. For one thing, most people only know to persuade economic benefit and ignore the importance of protecting our environment. For anther thing, there is a lack of environmental protection law and regulation.

3、What are some advantages of learning arts and music at school?

Learning arts and music can make us relax and it’s good for our health. Learning arts and music also can help us improve aesthetic ability and find out beautiful things in our lives.

4、What are some solutions to prevent road accident?

Road accident is a social issue. Here are two solutions to prevent road accident. On one hand, we must know it’s very important to obey/follow traffic rules. This is very well protect our life if everybody obeys/follows traffic rules. On the other hand, the government should improve traffic conditions and make traffic conditions convenient for people to travel.

5、What are some factors people move to big cities to work or live?

There are many reasons why people work or live in large cities. Firstly, public transport and living conditions in large cities is very convenient and the fare of tickets is inexpensive. Secondly, there are many higher quality education resources in big cities than those in countryside. Last but not least, a lot of famous companies are in cities and they can provide many opportunities for personal advancement. All in all, there are many advantages for those people who settle in large cities.

At present, it seems that more and more people are going to start their own business. Some even quit their job as big firm engineer or government employee. Furthermore, according to some reports, the number of graduates who intend to establish their company is on the rise. Is it a good idea for you to running your own business?

Some think the answer is true. Firstly, they think that it can make much more money than work as a clerk or an engineer, which is emphasized by today’s media, a co-founder of big enterprise could earn millions of dollars a year or even more. Secondly, it seems that you can have more leisure time and more opportunity to do whatever you want. In addition, you should have a sense of achievement which could makes you feel fantastic.

While on the contrary, running your own company is not as beautiful as it seems to be. Since the salary has increased dramatically and the energy price is rocketing, companies are not so profitable, huge outcome has cut down their profit significantly. And don’t mention that you might face much pressure, that results from marketing, technic and management, as well as the sense of uncertainty which could surround you in every day and night. Except that, few people is qualified for starting a new business. Establishing and running a new firm needs a large amount of funds, wide range of social connections and extensive management experiment, while many people cannot meet with these requirements. According to a research in China, there are only 5% of the new companies can survive 5 years, they largely die in 3 years.

So in my opinion, starting your own business is really attractive, however it is not a good option for most of the people. Without enough money, experience and good team members, your own career as an company founder might result in a disaster, even could threat to you family.

There are two opposite views about how the employees should dress during the work time. Some companies and organizations think that it is necessary for their employees to dress formally in the workplace. While others suppose that the quality of work is much more important than the appearance.

It is certainly true that we should focus on the productivity. We should give the employees the freedom of choosing their clothes, which means they can keep their own personality instead of just obeying the rules. To some extends, free thoughts lead to more creativity, and creativity is vital to our company.

However, the appearance is also very important. Firstly, the clothes dressed in out office represent the appearance of the entire company, not just the employee himself. Smart clothes not only show the respect to our customer but also give them some inference of reliability and professionality. Secondly, the dresses contribute much to a person’s feelings, nice clothes can make our employees more self-confident, which could lead to more productivity.

Furthermore, we should realize that dressing smartly does not means you cannot keep your personality. You can still dress the clothes that you like, and choose the style which you prefer to, try to make yourself looks good. You cannot image that you want to give your project to a person in shabby dirty clothes. In addition, if you don’t dress nicely you should cause some problems to yours colleagues or your customers, such as a woman dressing too sexy or a man wearing an vest in the office.

Finally, in my opinion, it’s reasonable that an organization makes the request that their employees should dress smartly. Everyone should care about what he is wearing. You should try to make you looks good, at least clean and appropriate for your circumstances. Or you might bring some troubles to yourself.

It is becoming increasingly common for employees to adapte for the culture of a organisation. The dressing culture is a important aspect of the culture.
some organisations believe that their employees should dress smartly. They argued that the dressing is a essential symbol of one's status and attitude to the job, moreover, good dressing will make people looked professional, that could boost motivation of hard word.
Some other organisations, however, differ in this opinion on this matter. They hold the idea that the exployees have the right to choose what kind of dressing they like and there is no link between dressing and attitude. They believe that the skills, talents, creativity and productivity should be the first thing that the employee should be test. Furthermore, they even believe creating a pleasant emotion will help employees have a performance which would make it easy to find the right people for organisation.
In my opinion, firstly, the dressing should show his advantages for a employees, such as serious, professional and good attitude; what is more, the dressing of employees should not only be suitable to their character but also match the job. For example, the doctor and the lawyer should be serious so the dressing their choosed should be smartly. contrastly, the job of teacher or IT programmer would give employees more freedom in dressing.

During work, whether to dress formally or to better accomplish work tasks. Don't pay too much attention to what to wear. Different people seem to have different opinions.
I think there are three main advantages of wearing formal dress. The first is that uniformed dress will make people feel very uniform and good-looking. The second is that uniformed dress will make people feel very professional at work. The third is Wearing uniform is sometimes easy to identify
In fact, it is also right to focus on work without worrying about appearance. The first is that all companies should be based on the premise of completing the work efficiently. The second is that sometimes too formal dress may constrain employees' thinking and affect work efficiency. Finally, If you are a telephone operator, you don't actually have contact with the client, so what you wear doesn't really matter
So I think that different industries may have different requirements for dress, So dress should not be generalized, It is important to wear the right clothes for the right occasions.
For example, if you work in a bank, it is necessary to dress uniformly. If you are a programmer, you can dress casually as long as you feel comfortable. Of course, no matter what job you do, if you are going to receive clients, I think you should dress more formally. This is respect for others and basic etiquette, so choose different dresses for different situations, don't make generalizations.

Electricity should be the most important discovery in the world, while some people claim that it causes more damages than advantages. This essay will focus on the two opposite views about electricity.

Electricity has always been playing the vital role in our life. Most of our electronic devices such as lights, air conditioner, television, vacuum cleaner, refrigerator and washing machine, make our life convenient and prosperous. Don’t mention that all the hardware of information system, including computer, laptop, cellphone, server, switch are powered by electricity. All these devices and equipments have changed our world significantly, and electricity is the key to our modern life.

Electricity is also a kind of “green” energy. On one hand, electronic devices will neither omit green house gases, nor discharge polluted waste. It can only produce heat and radio microwave which will do minor damage to our human and any other species. On the other hand, electronic devices are much more efficient than equipments run by traditional fossil fuel. For example, when you set up a gasoline light, 80% of energy is wasted and transfers to heat. While a bulb can transfer 60% of electricity to light, furthermore the efficiency of LED could reach more than 90%, according to some researches.

However, electricity certainly brings us some harms which mostly originate from power plant. Coral power plant could discharge many types of green house gases, some of them are even deadly to living creatures, which contributes large part to our air pollution. And nuclear power plant is dangerous to our planet if the nuclear material is leaked by accident, as well as water power plant which could do much harm to the environment which could last several decades.

Electricity really do harms to our human beings, but in my opinion, it is obvious that electricity has completely changed our world, it has brought us the convenient life style, the prosperity of economics, and the progress of science and technology. I believe that electricity is absolutely the world’s most important discovery.

1. Is it the responsibility of the government or individuals to promote exercise and healthy diets?

A）I think it is the government's responsibility to promote exercise and healthy diet. First, the government can achieve the desired effect through large-scale publicity. Second, the government can build more sports facilities to encourage exercise. Third, the government can restrict unhealthy diet encourage healthy eating

B) I believe that promoting exercise and healthy eating is a personal responsibility. First, each of us should be responsible for ourselves. Second, if we are not subjectively self-disciplined, it is difficult for other external factors to change our personal decisions.

2. Should laws be introduced to ban unhealthy food?

A) I don't think it should. On the one hand, the law should be used to prohibit and punish crimes. On the other hand, individuals should have the right to freely choose food, whether that food is healthy or not.

B) I think it should. On the one hand, the law should protect the physical health of individuals. On the other hand, health and medical problems caused by unhealthy diet will increase the burden on society, so the law prohibiting such behavior is beneficial to the development of the country.

3. who should do the housework at home?

A）I think wives should do housework. First, because some are full-time wives, they don't need to go to work, so they have more time to do housework. Second, women are more meticulous than men, and they will do better housework.

B）I think every member of the family should do housework, because we are all members of this family, and we all have the obligation to do housework, do more when we have more time, and do less when we have less time. Everyone does the housework they can.

4. Is it important to protect the customs and traditions of a culture?

A）I think it is very important. Cultural customs and traditions are cultural heritages that cannot be copied. Only by protecting these can we let our children and grandchildren see the charm of traditional culture. Otherwise we will be a country and nation without history.

B ) I don't think it's completely correct. There are good and bad cultural customs and traditions. We must protect good cultural customs and traditions and discard those bad habits and uncivilized traditions. Therefore, cultural practices and traditions have a better future only if they develop in innovation.

5. Is it important for a country to control immigration or should people be able to come and go as the please?

A) I think a country should control immigration. The main reason is that the first immigrants often follow the transfer of wealth, and if the economic development of a country is not well controlled, it will have an impact. Second, if you commit a crime and go abroad, you may not be able to punish the criminal.

B) I think a country should not control immigration. The main reasons are that, first, any citizen should have the freedom to come and go, which is everyone's right. Second, the country can only retain talents by formulating more attractive policies

In recent years, more and more parents have begun to care about their children's learning efficiency. Of course, there are many factors that affect learning efficiency. One of them is that to improve learning efficiency, it is necessary to pay attention to the meal in school. The school should provide children with healthy meal. Is this statement right?

On the one hand, Physical health is very helpful for improving learning efficiency, so it is necessary to eat less fast food and fried foods to keep children healthy. Some children love to eat unhealthy food, which leads to obesity, slow movement, etc,It also affects their learning efficiency. From this perspective, So who should be responsible for a healthy meal in schools? Is it the government or the parents or the school? I think this requires the joint efforts of all parties. The government should introduce policies to require schools to provide healthy meal. Parents also have a certain supervision responsibility. Of course, schools bear the most important responsibility.

On the other hand, There are many factors that affect learning efficiency. A healthy body is only one of them. A good family environment, good role models from parents, professional guidance from teachers, good study habits for children and a well-arranged plan are all important.

Therefore, improving children's learning efficiency requires the joint efforts of society, schools, and parents, and it is not enough to provide a healthy meal during school. Of course, for the health of children, it is the most basic responsibility to provide children with a healthy meal, whether at school or at home.

(264 words)

As a teacher, students must eat healthy meals in school. This is the responsibility of a school. The growth of a student depends not only on the improvement of his intelligence and knowledge, but also on whether he has a healthy body. Therefore, the provision of healthy food can be said to be the basis of campus life security, which students should provide even if they are picky about food and don't like it.

As a parent, the stage of children's study in school is the stage of the fastest physical development. This stage requires a lot of nutrition and energy. Therefore, eating healthy meals can only be a foundation, which may also increase the need for more high-quality proteins, such as beef and shrimp.

As a former student, the of the school canteen can only satisfy us to eat, and the taste and dishes are not particularly satisfactory. After entering college, our choices were more diverse, but no one will guide you whether these foods are healthy. For example, we can buy milk tea with very high calories. You can always eat fried food as long as you like.

To sum up, whether to be responsible for providing food depends on whether students and parents have the right to choose food. When you can only passively eat the designated meals, the school must be responsible, such as scientific nutrition matching, different tastes, and even the color of the dishes. When you can choose what to eat, the school offers a wide range of dishes. You can choose those that are unhealthy but taste good. Even wine.

It is no doubt that it is of great significance to ensure that children in school get access to balanced and healthy food because this will not only have positive effect on the health but also help children to focus on study more easily. Since ,our body as well as brain needs nutrition to function normally and efficiently. If you want a child have a good performance at school, it’s would be wise to provide them with meal that contain necessary material such as enough fiber, vitamin,omiga-3,protein.The nutrition will facilitate their study as nutrition is the source of our energy and it would make students more easily to concentrate on their study.

It’s not mean that a child who has healthy food will definitely work well on their study because many other factors also influence their performance. However, to make sure that school children have nice meals means to set the fundamental condition for them to work better. Some students prefer to junk food which contain high fat, salt and other things that would have negative effect on human’s body in the long run. It will be much more difficult for those junk food lovers to performance well. This is because those food lack the ability to offer enough power for human’s body while requires large deal of energy of the body to digest them.

Then who should be responsible to ensure healthy diets of school children? This is a easy as well as a complex question. It’s easy, because the everyone who involve in the education process should share responsibility. It’s also a complex question as the parts who involve in the process include a lot.For example children’s parents, family members, school, teachers ,government all have a role in students’ study life. So maybe, it would have a better result if we combine all those effort together. Lastly, children’s parents and school share the biggest duty so they should associate with each other about how to make sure the children in school can have healthy meals.

(335 words)

I didn't manage to finish the last paragraph in time, more 8 minutes used. Here is my essay.
-------------------------------------------

There are many discussions about the children’s diet at school. Some people claim that it is necessary for children to have healthy food, and the government should expose some rules or even laws to insure that. But on the contrary, I don’t agree with them.

Firstly, distinguishing between healthy food or not is not realistic. People need many kinds of food such as rice, vegetable, fruit, etc., various food can keep the balance of our intake nutrition, which is the key factor to our health. Eating the so called healthy food leads to limit the types of food eaten which will minimize the variety of food taken by children. In fact, it can cause some trouble to children’s health.

Secondly, if the government is involved, it might lead to low efficiency, even corruption, which has proved by many researches and facts all over the world. The rules and laws need precision, while if we can define which food is absolutely healthy or not, the boundary will be vague. So it is not suitable for the government to regulate the food consumed by children.

Certainly, it is true that it’s the most efficient way to bring about healthy diet to school as well as the best advertisement to healthy food, especially in a short period of time. While in my opinion, it might cause many serious problems to out educational system.

To sum up, it is teachers, parents, not the government who should be responsible for teaching the children to eat healthy food. First of all, we should let them know how to keep the balance of ingredients we taken. And next, the we must give the children the freedom to choose the food at their wishes, which could benefit a lot not only to their physical health but also the health of their future lives.

As we know children need more nourishing food when they are students.Because the kids should have enough nutrition to grow up and to study well.As a student, you’ll have mass of assignment and physical activities which are taken a lots of physical energy and mental everyday in the school. So,it’s very important that the students need to eat a healthy foot at school.

Some nutritionist say that children's diet at later ages appears to have obvious impact on their school attainment.Unfortunately，there are mass of students do not have nourishing food at school. Some statistics and research show that more than half of students graze on high-cholesterol take-aways and microwaved ready-meals. And some kids are crazy about fast food. This can cause their bodies to lack the nutrients they need to grow and even make them obese. In addition，it can also prevent the students from concentrating on their studies.

General speaking，schools should be the foremost responsible for children's healthy diet.As the main role of responsibility for provide learning and living, school should provide healthy food for children. Campus canteen must offer more dishes to chosen， and ensure food safety.Secondly,The government must offer more money to ensure students' meals and make some strict rules to protect these money spent on the meal of the student. The government should instituted tougher penalties for anyone who break the rules.Besides, i think the parents will pay attention to the children's diet habits. Do not be a fussy eater, eat more vegetables and less fried food are beneficial to health.

Overall, to have a healthy body and learn effectively, school, government and parents should pay more attention and action to provide a healthy meal at school for the student.

(295words)
