1. Accountability: We are accountable to the people we serve, our donors and the countries we work in. We always act with integrity.

2. Agility: We respond promptly and flexibly to emerging opportunities and challenges in achieving our purpose. We are committed to reducing bureaucracy, but we always ensure that our decisions are taken on a well-founded and thorough analysis.

3. Country-ownership: We respect the views of both our donors and recipient countries. We will never engage in projects or activities that are not previously agreed to by our donors and recipient countries.

4. Efficiency: We maximize donor funding to community-targeted projects and aim to minimize overhead costs without jeopardizing the continuity of our operations.

5. Impact: We focus on producing and measuring results.

6. Independence: We are neutral and do not adhere to any political agenda, and though we work in partnership with governments, we never let national political agendas interfere with our work. We facilitate and inspire connection and collaboration between all PVE stakeholders to increase the efficiency and sustainability of our combined efforts.

7. Innovation: We support creative and entrepreneurial initiatives to prevent violent extremism. We take risks when attempting new approaches, but we always assess those risks on a case-by-case basis. We will never engage in PVE activities that threaten the security of communities or individuals.
8. Multi-stakeholder engagement: We collaborate with states, private sector, and civil society at the country and local levels. We engage with different types of organizations and actors that can help prevent violent extremism, including engaging former members of violent extremist organizations. We carefully vet the partners that receive our support. We refuse to receive funds from or work with partners who we feel advocate or implement approaches that are contrary to our principles.

9. Sustainability: We build the resilience and capacity of the communities we support. We fund communities with the aim to strengthen their ability to independently and proactively prevent violent extremism. We focus on long-term preventive solutions rather than mitigating initiatives.

10. Transparency: We provide regular, detailed and timely information on our decisions. We particularly provide detailed information on our funding decisions, including the volume, allocation and (when available), results of our funding programs. We respond to, and appreciate, feedback and questions regarding any aspect of our activities.
