Social media has impacted our lives both negatively and positively. For this argument we will be focusing on the positives. Case in point , with the 2020 pandemic outbreak which resulted in the shutdown of the world, banned travelling, the restriction of the physical reach to your loved ones. Social media was one beam of hope we had, it kept us in contact with one another although we were missing that physical touch but I could get proof of life, check up on you wherever you are. That's not all social media can give us, when jobs were lost it became source of income to many through content creation, marketing etc. Social media has bridged the gap between continents because I can communicate with someone with someone on a different geographic location as me in real-time
