Globalisation has played a major role in the damaging of the environment even though its not only indirectly responsible. Globalisation reflects on some national, regional and international policies which have caused negative effects on the environment due to the rapid incline go globalisation. One of the main problems that the environment is affected by is the use of chemical distribution and pollution which is caused both directly and indirectly by global trade which comes back to the realm of globalisation. Globalisation is the cause of landscape intrusion, none pollution, chemical pollution, ocean pollution and negative effects caused to wildlife/sea life.

http://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/economics/economic-globalisation/what-is-the-impact-of-globalisation-on-the-environment_9789264111905-8-en

https://www.oecd.org/insights/economic-globalisation-what-is-the-impact-of-globalisation-on-the-environment.htm
