However, God sends an angelic messenger to him and explains. Daniel sees 4 series of beasts: a lion, a bear, a winged leopard, these 3 symbolizing an arrogant kingdom. Then at last there was a super beast identified as an evil empire, it had lots of horns which is a common symbol for kings in the old testament. The dream was about a huge statue made out of 4 types of metal, symbolizing a sequence of kingdoms and the head is Babylon. But then a huge rock comes and shatters the statue and then becomes a mountain. And a goat that represented Ancient Greece. The goat had multiple horns which also symbolizes the evil king.
