Below is a website to download programs for mining cryptocurrency.
Before getting started, it is beneficial to look up what cryptocurrency your computer will generate best. As I mentioned before, the better your graphics card is, the more crypto your computer will generate. It is also important to evaluate what each crypto is worth. Some other things to note are the electrical costs of running the system, and the amount of money required to cool the room where the system is held. It is not uncommon for “mining farms” to be built by individuals, with each Graphics Card earning the owner typically 5$ a day at 60% capacity.

Below is a website for virtual trading. Its easy to create an account and begin trading stocks for free, without any need to worry about gains or losses. You can invest into well-known stocks that typically increase in small increments over time; they usually match the overall inflation of the economy. A riskier approach can be taken by investing in stocks that are not well known. These stocks are associated with new companies and industries; they are usually in the natural resource or pharmaceutical categories. A fun game you can gamble on this site is by starting with one stock that is well known, and invest in riskier stocks to eventually afford two of your original stocks.

If you like the sound of gambling on the virtual stock trading app, check out this website below. It lists a bunch of different dates surrounding drug companies looking for government approval, and the review dates of drug companies at different developmental stages.
The website has a calendar option and filter settings. If you filter for PDUFA dates, a list of companies seeking approval by their governments’ pharmaceutical bodies will appear. Leading up to these approval dates, most companies’ stocks will skyrocket in price. Beware, this is a very risky way of investing, but lots of money can be made with this method. That is why it is better to do online.

Now that you have started mining bitcoin at home, the program needs a place to store your bitcoin. By owning a secure bitcoin wallet, like the one in this website, you can deposit the generated money directly into the wallet.
Most of these online wallets are unique; they require a private key from your end, and a public key for where your money is going. The key you provide the program with is your public key because you are receiving money. If you were paying someone in bitcoin, you would need their public key. If paying in bitcoin, the value of each unit should be checked, so that you know you are not overpaying for a product or service.

Attached below is a video explaining what some people are doing in cold countries. People who are looking to cut heating costs will find a cold habitable place, and set up shop. By this I mean that they will set up cryptocurrency miners and the heat generated by the miners will heat their homes.
The downside here is that in countries like Canada this may only be feasible during the winter climates, but mining still makes enough money to cover the costs of cooling the units in summer. For students with little time on their hands to work, or employed people looking for extra income, mining cryptocurrency can be a very easy way to generate income on the side.

This video outlines a very interesting topic I’d like to discuss, F.I.R.E. (Financial Independence Retirement Early). Andrei explains how a minimalistic lifestyle and constant investing has allowed for an early retirement after only 5 years.
This method of investing has become more popular by the younger generation, and people with access to apps like Wealthsimple (the Canadian version of RobinHood). The method is straightforward, dividends are your paycheques. It is even possible to reinvest these dividends and create more money when the next dividend payments come because you will own more stocks. The negatives here include that for times of distress, like right now with the coronavirus outbreak, the dividend payments and investment portfolio are at the mercy of the stock market.

1) For this assignment I chose a topic I already had a basic understanding of. I could have done more research into specific pros or cons of stock market investing and cryptocurrency, but there was only so much information I could include. For your enjoyment I tried finding the most informative, yet interesting things about stocks and crypto that I could.

2) This topic is relevant in regard to the PDUFA trading, I use wealthsimple and penny stocks that will soon reach their PDUFA dates to make money. AGRX is the ticker for my whale. I watched it go from 30 cents to 4$ a share. Furthermore, I am moving to a cooler climate next year and I was happy to research what I might need for a basic mining rig to heat my room.

3) The most important thing in my opinion, is the market is volatile. It will go up and it will go down, it is very hard to predict when these things will happen. My family complains when their investments go down and cheer when it goes up. My advice is that you should never cheer at or curse the market. The best thing to do is invest consistently and allow your money to work for you.
