Today I thought about how to go about writing the rest of my essay by using my introduction as almost a push for everything else and incorporating more of a personal voice in my essay. My goal for this weekend is to continue to work on my introduction as well as have at least two other paragraphs written. I currently have one other paragraph that I also hope to go back in and change the tone of it.

At first, I thought I was doing somewhat well, but then I realized that I had written a rather boring essay. I knew it wasn't great, but having it pointed out to me made me see that I need to transform this dull piece into something more engaging. I believe I have an idea that could be really fun, but I still need approval from Sulzman to determine if this concept for the essay is a good direction. Overall, I feel it went better than I expected.

and for the out side goal ima take things slow but once i have the goahead then this eassy will be easy

Today why direction changed from working on my claim to coming up with a good hook. I started my paragraph off not really thinking about a hook but after reading it over thought I could use one. I also thought about the connections I'm trying to make within my essay and how I want that to look. Those to thought processes took over my class time today.


Out of class I hope to finalize my hook and also finish my intro paragraph so I'll be able to move on to my body paragraphs next week.
