They were so sure, that they waited until the day my mom went into labor to pick out a girl name "just in case". While throwing up on the side of the road on the way to the hospital, my dad leans over and asks my mom, "How about Brittany?" That is how my name that I will have for my entire life came into existence. One small, insignificant moment that took 5 minutes of planning. Now, if I had been born a male, my name would have been planned out for months and thought about relentlessly. Lucky for me, my parents are quick thinkers and can come up with an answer  in a  moments notice. My parents still call me this childhood nickname occasionally.  I'm not sure where they heard of this or came up with it, but i always assumed it was because my name is Brittany Bruning and Boo Boo all start with B's. Other than my families nick name, I have never had another name to go by, No one calls me Britt or any other variation of my name. I kind of like not having a million nicknames.
