Our kindergarten is Montessori, and we have children from ages 3 to 5. Something I often do in my classroom is that when I see one of the older children feeling restless or already finished with their work, I invite them to show a material to a younger child. They put a lot of effort into doing it well, and it becomes a meaningful learning experience for both.

Students choose how they want to be greeted every morning, they have different “class jobs” everyday, they help with the floor book

They want to help me with small tasks, like cutting things for the class or sticking papers on the walls. They enjoy doing Kahoots for studying with classmates, and when we have the time, I give them the opportunity to do it in class.

There is student who saw a problem with his ipad. It was not standing because the case was broken, so he told his dad who works with wood, if they could make one. So he did all the design and he got a final product.
