You see this little liquor store we got in mind class 75000 and we figured the initial investment on the place to be about 30,000 see that'd be 10000 each course there's a couple of hundred you got to pay so you don't spend your life just waiting for them clowns to let your license get approved” (Act 1 Scene 1, 79)

 water undergoes the greatest transformation his journey takes him from being a total jerk obsessed with getting rich schemes to a man worthy  of respect.  this shows how poverty and racism can twist depress people, Turning them against the ones they love most and it proves social barriers can be overcome through determination and staying to your beliefs.
