At least 65, yes 6 effing 5 of those years we have been buds, besties! We could write a book on our early adventures. Tom Sawyer had nuttin on us. Two doors down and our mothers were besties. Coffee and cigs EVERY DAY! (Moms, not us). 15 months my senior you often led the way in so many “rites of passage”. Toys, games, GIRLS, music, sports, clothes and frat. Yeah we had our moments, fights, some physical, most verbal. But always best buds. And the most amazing thing? NO JAIL TIME! Remember the night we got shot at? The curved fenders of your bug were great to deflect bullets. Oh man-so many stories.  Really surprised we made it this far. 
SO…..I am proud to call ERNEST CURTIS BURT III, my oldest, dearest friend even if he is 70 freaking years old!
