1. The elements of CRM interesting to me are the 4R's in marketing which include relationship, retention, referrals, recovery.
Relationships: CRM helps the company develop and and grow relationship so that their brand becomes important to the customer through emails, social media highlights, SMS promotions, etc.
Retention: companies spend a lot of time to gain a customer so it is important to build programs to keep them loyal and satisfied to the company by retaining them for life and maximize the profit. CRM helps in doing this by saving money on marketing and focusing on retention, gain free word of mouth advertising, feedback from loyal customers, etc.
Referrals: a) helps gauge overall customer satisfaction. b) helps gauge overall customer loyalty. c) helps to invest in the best marketing efforts.
Recovery: Similar to retention, it helps build the

customer base for the company by re-building relationships

with customers that are no longer buying from the company. Using CRM helps the company know customer behaviour and buying pattern so that they can run reports when customer loss needs attention.
2. CRM can be effective by doing the following:
a) identifying the hurdles in your business. A good place to start would be where productivity is lacking as their is always a department the is falling behind.
b) CRM technology may be the answer. Using CRM tools to create an open channel of communication between departments, companies can streamline the sales process and ensure greater customer success.
3. CRM( customer realationship management) is business software that helps individuals and teams maximize their customer communications and sales efforts. IT will benefit my personal brand by consolidating all my data into one easy to access location, sell more faster, staying focused on customers, Marketing, etc.
4. CRM skills I need to excel in are as follows:
a) Awareness of customer needs
b) Direct marketing skills
c) CRM software knowledge
d) Strategic thinking skills
e) Sales funnel knowledge
Reference:

(n.d.).

LinkedIn and Glassdoor are two of the leading job posting and recruiting websites in the world and are trusted by millions of users around the world. (Betterteam , 2019)

1. Ease of use for the Applicant :

Both the applications are easy to use in their own different ways.

Glassdoor rates at 4.2/5 stars with 48 reviews, whereas LinkedIn job search rates 4.4/5 stars with 530 reviews. All the reviews were verified. (G2, 2020)

2. Simplicity in Design for UX:

Both the applications have simple designs and are easy to operate which makes it more convenient for the users. All these being said, LinkedIn is still comparatively better than Glassdoor because doing business in LinkedIn is much easier and their ratings are better as well.

3. Cost:

LinkedIn – They have paid subscriptions plans or pay per click. Their minimum price depends on the daily budget that is set. The recruiter package with advanced tools starts at $8,999.00 per year.

Glassdoor – They have paid subscriptions or pay per day. Its starts at $199.00 per month for only 1 job slot and it costs up to $699.00 per month for a 10 job bundle option. (Betterteam , 2019)

Glassdoor is cheaper than LinkedIn in terms of cost on an annual full package basis. But in normal premium packages LinkedIn is more affordable for job postings.

4. Relevance for your industry sector:

As I want to work in the Information Technology sector , both LinkedIn and Glassdoor would help me getting a job based on skills and qualifications. LinkedIn has more IT jobs available on the search field as compared to Glassdoor. This shows that LinkedIn has a wider pool of opportunity as compared to Glassdoor.
