Although he was born in Miami his heritage came from Cuba. His political career that brought him the fame first began in 1998 when he ran for Miami city commissioner. Marco Rubio's largest acomplishment as a senator was The Rubio-Schumer Gang of Eight Bill. This was an immigration reform which immensely benefited the immigrants. Another large contribution he has made was his tax plan Economic Growth and Family Fairness Tax Plan. This was a tax plan that would have simplified the tax code and allowed families and businesses to grow more easily. This was truly a remarkable plan for it would have allowed economic development to be increased largely. Despite this remarkable achievement he has also has had some questionable decisions that could be hated.
