It is about realizing who is worth your love and attention.&nbsp;<br>Teaching Idea:&nbsp;<br>Problem Posing from Chapter 8. Students will listen as the teacher reads aloud the book. I will then engage the students by asking them, what was the purpose for reading this book, what did you learn rom reading this text, what parts you liked best and worst, are there any parts that you don't understand, and etc.&nbsp;As we read the book again, I will have the student consider other possible views.  I will then give them a copy of the Challenging the Text Grid. I will then read aloud the questions and clarify them, then have the students work in small groups to fill out the sheet. After everyone is done, I will bring it back to a whole class discussion and go over their answers. </div>]]></description>

Seeing that this book has a lot of pictures and things going on in the picture, this method would be great to help students interpret and predict. I would put the picture book on document camera so that all of my students could see it. I would go over the pages with them and ask questions regarding the pictures. It would help them with their thinking, predicting, and inferencing.</div>]]></description>
