In the past this has been a focus of mine from the beginning of the year to the last day of school and it always seems to make a difference. I recently heard a quote that stuck with me - “your students won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” and it reigns true no matter your group of students.


I also believe in positive reinforcement and positive narration. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar!
