L sided heart failure / underlying cardiomyopathy
👉causes pulmonary thromboembolism (characterised by alveolar and interstitial pattern of lung in radiograph, and profuse generalised whitish dots and dark red dots on the lungs parenchyma, we did not see obvious dark red spot because the lung is already congested, hence white dots which be due to the pulmonary fibrosis – thickening of the tissue between alveoli)
👉dyspnea and respiratory distress, then due to stress or complicated with anaemia
👉causes respiratory failure
👉causes death

generalised ade banyak dark red spots on lung because of blood clot in the capillaries of lungs. imagine ? atau try google ^^

being fed home-cooked diet (chicken) / not eating enough (inappetance) > taurine deficiency > DCM

> tp dlm patient signalment ckp fed with kibbles
> fed with kibbles 1 week after rescue je > then another 1 week chicken + stray not eating good diet, so taurine def

- bradycardia (<140bpm, this case 120)
- tachypnea (>40bpm, this case only stated rapid abd.breathing+open mouth breathing)
- hypothermia (<37.8C, this case 34C)
- leucocytosis (>19000WBC/uL, this case 28250WBC/uL)
- pale mm

in my opinion > Taurine deficiency is a long term problem, not happen in a day or a week, or 2, plus, owner did give commercial diet, so cat wont die so fast just because of taurine deficiency.

Ya i agree that normally it is a long term problem, but previously Penny was a stray cat. So we tak sure jugak dia get enough feed or not previously. Sebab normally stray cat just eat anything to survive.
