When they had scolded her and practically disowned her, they weren't thinking straight. Their nephew had just been murdered and they were emotional. And just because they said all of those things does not mean they no longer cared for her. But you also have to take into consideration when he went out and returned telling them she has repented or confessed and that she will obey them. This could change the emotional value between Juliet and her parents.
