         <title>✷ WEEK 1: 0221 &amp; 0223 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Work, Power, Energy, and Energy Relationships</strong><br><br>1. The previous lessons within the week were interesting, as my shallow knowledge involving work, power, and energy in particular were incredibly widened. More real-life concepts that I originally questioned became clear, especially the idea that in most cases, energy is not gained or lost, but rather converted into different forms.<br><br>2. I found it easy to engage for Week 1 since it involved mostly discussion of concepts and discussed little of word problems. The teacher often asked questions to check on the students' understanding of the lesson as the session advanced, and it became easier to voice out any concepts difficult to understand if applicable. It was also easier to keep oneself focused during the discussion.<br><br>3. Within the past week's discussion, I found great difficulty in retaining the information, especially because a great majority of the concepts were quite new to me. I tend to interchange force and energy when referring to terms, and the incorporation of these concepts into Mathematical formulas was quite confusing for me, since they were quite many to take in at once. Although I understood each concept when they were discussed one at a time, if ever they were combined in one activity, I would have difficulty in distinguishing one from the other; although, this concern may be improved if I study the lessons once again.<br><br>4. As for my evaluation for the teacher's method of delivery, I really found the sufficient examples of real-life situations involving the concepts, since they really enhanced my understanding of the topic. The way it was discussed was simplified and was easy to understand. The only concern I may have is having too many concepts to be learned at once, though I'm not sure as to whether this is something the teacher can actually control, since there's also a lesson plan and a corresponding schedule to be followed. If possible, though, continuous reviews on the previous discussions would be very much appreciated, that is, if time permits.</div>]]></description>

         <title>✷ WEEK 2: 0228 &amp; 0302 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Energy in Isolated and Non-isolated Systems, Conservative vs. Non-conservative Forces</strong><br><br>1. I found the lessons intriguing,&nbsp;since they're relatively difficult compared to the past lessons we've had during the former quarter. I was driven to learn since all these concepts were incredibly new to me; however, it was quite wearing as the lessons had numerous concepts, followed by new Mathematical solutions that I had a hard time following. <br><br>2. I found that it was a bit difficult for me to engage during the two lessons. The first lesson, which discussed different Mathematical representations for different situations, was quite confusing since it was my first time encountering the concepts, as well as the used formula. One the other hand, the second lesson had new concepts as well, along with the use of partial derivatives and other Mathematical techniques, which made it a bit hard for me to follow and consistently participate in answering the questions mentioned during the discussion.<br><br>3. The major difficulty that I had encountered during the discussions was the incorporation of these concepts into Mathematical solutions. During the first quarters of Physics, I found solving quite easy since a majority of the concepts were familiar and the solutions weren't difficult to remember; however, I find great difficulty in understanding how the Mathematical solutions used in the discussion were related to the concepts, which means I lack the ability to comprehend the problems, thus, hindering my ability to solve them correctly.<br><br>4. Similar to my previous feedbacks, I find no flaw in the teacher's manner of discussing. It's rather calming and warm; it doesn't invoke pressure on the student, but it encourages them to learn. I do suggest that more examples, if given ample time, will be given in the future discussions, especially because it's still difficult to grasp different lessons having a variety of concepts all at once, not to mention, the Mathematical solutions included in them.</div>]]></description>

         <title>✷ WEEK 3: 0307 &amp; 0309 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Power, Efficiency, Electricity, Conductor, Insulator, Semiconductor, Superconductor, Charging<br><br></strong>1. I found the topic interesting, as there were a lot of happenings related to power and electricity in real life wherein I, myself, cannot explain the reason behind them. I simply knew the basics—the concept of electricity and how it flows in conductors and insulators—but the past week's discussion provided me with enhanced knowledge through specific terms (e.g. the different types of charging). Since the teacher thoroughly explained the concepts and how they take place in real life, it was quite easy to understand and easy to relate to.<br><br>2. I particularly found the second day of the week's discussions to be engaging, since I found them relatively easier to understand than the first day's discussion. I believe that it was also easier to engage during the second day than the first because a review of the previous discussion was held and it was easier to remember since they were tackled within the same week. Additionally, having background knowledge on the lesson and proceeding with its continuation was also a factor. I also found many concepts included in the latter discussion to be very interesting, since electricity is something I've been curious about, especially because we are widely surrounded by it every day.<br><br>3. Similar with the previous weeks, I believe that I'm having great trouble in retaining these information rather than understanding them. In my perspective as a student, understanding them with the teacher's guidance is incredibly easy; however, I doubt that I can fluently recall and explain every concept under different lessons without sufficient reviews, especially because many of these concepts are relatively new to me. I believe that this aspect will improve with studying and further exposure to the previously tackled topics as our discussions advance.<br><br>4. To improve the&nbsp;delivery of instruction, I believe interactive activities that will allow every student to participate can enhance understanding and keep previously discussed ideas well-retained. If time permits, I would suggest kickstarting the lessons with mini-games (e.g. reviewing previous lessons with Quizizz, Kahoot, or other interactive softwares), similar to a few discussions held back in the previous quarter, could help in improving the mood of the class, which can also improve student engagement as the discussion proceeds (though this is only a personal opinion/hypothesis). In terms of the approach of discussing the new topics mid-lesson, I believe that the instructor already does an exceptional job, especially because he caters to all of the students' queries, if any, and answers them seriously. The way the complicated concepts are discussed also makes it very easy for us to understand.</div>]]></description>

         <title>✷ WEEK 4: 0314 &amp; 0316 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Charging, Coulomb's Law<br><br>1. </strong>I found the week's discussions interesting, particularly the latter one. I was intrigued by the concepts and word problems involved in Coulomb's Law, although I found them quite challenging to master as I haven't encountered the topic before in Junior High School. I was interested since my initial knowledge on the topic was as simple as "opposites attract, likes repel", but as the discussion advanced, I discovered that there were certain degrees between these charges that could also by measured and computed through Physics; I didn't expect it to be as specific as it was. <strong><br><br>2. </strong>Although I was very intrigued by the lesson, I had quite the difficult time engaging since the concepts were challenging. They were easy to understand while the teacher was still explaining them one at a time, but I found the concepts difficult to patch up altogether into a single, general idea. Since this was a new lesson, the word problems involved also weren't easy, which is why I had quite a hard time mastering them and completely having myself immersed and engaged during the discussions.<strong><br><br>3. </strong>As all the concepts were relatively new to me, I found that retaining all the information that I understood was very difficult. It seemed as if I couldn't <em>fully </em>understand how one set of concepts were correlated to the other, and even when I did, I wasn't able to retain them well. <br><strong><br>4.&nbsp;</strong>I greatly appreciate the fact that the teacher makes sure to review the topics discussed in the previous meeting, as having activities, written works, performance tasks, and lessons from different subjects was getting quite demanding for me as a student, especially since it's the end of the year, and I believe that the case may be the same for a few others. Although, I do believe that the teacher has set the standard for a notable method of teaching, as it piques my attention and allows me to understand the concepts involved effectively. To improve my understanding, I also believe that I have to reflect on my work habits and continuously study so as to enhance my retainment of the previous lessons discussed.</div>]]></description>

         <title>✷ WEEK 5: 0321 &amp; 0323 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Sample Problems (Coulomb's Law)<br><br>1. </strong>I found the discussion to be very interesting, as it involved solving problems with concepts that we were somehow already familiar with. The discussed problems weren't repetitive either; each problem discussed was very distinct and had different solving patterns or processes, but they all still used the same formulas, which I also found intriguing. <strong><br><br>2. </strong>The first discussion was an asynchronous one, and I found myself engaged as I could learn the lesson at my own pace. It was fortunate that no questions arrived in mind while I was understanding the recorded sessions. I also found the second discussion engaging, as solving problems required the engagement of the students for us to fully comprehend the process/es involved. It was also quite easy to ask questions if ever we were to arrive with any concerns before the solutions completely advanced to the end.<strong><br><br>3. </strong>During the discussions, the problem that I had arrived with was the fact that I could understand the entire process when it's being taught, but could not bring myself to do the entire process when solving on my own. It seemed simple during discussions, but it was entirely difficult to comprehend when another problem, although similar but not completely, must be answered. <strong><br><br>4.&nbsp;</strong>I had no concerns with the teacher's method of delivery, and I was pleased with the way he took his time to discuss the problems involved during the second discussion. In all honesty, I wasn't able to study the asynchronous recorded discussions; however, I was thankful as they weren't followed-up during the second meeting. Because of the manner of teaching during the second meeting, it became easy for me to understand the asynchronous recorded sessions when I viewed them after class. I also do believe that these recorded meetings are of great help to us, especially for the students who struggle to remember all the processes involved in solving word problems.</div>]]></description>

         <title>✷ WEEK 6: 0328 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Sample Problems (Coulomb's Law) CGPS Review<br><br>1.&nbsp;</strong>The lesson was interesting, since it was a continuation of the previous discussion and it served as the review for our CGPS. We were quite familiar with the concepts and the flow when solving the said problems, but there were still difficulties observed when we were answering the problems on our own, particularly for those word problems with different situations from the ones discussed. The assignment which was discussed was difficult in itself, and since we were given the problem beforehand but had a hard time solving it, the process to solving it and the final answer had us listening attentively all throughout the discussion.<br><br><strong>2.&nbsp;</strong>The lesson was also engaging, since we were looking forward to learning the lesson for the sake of getting good grades in our CGPS. It was also because we were encouraged to participate through the step-by-step methods in solving the word problems. We were also consistently asked whether we understood the discussion, which I believe increased my level of engagement towards the discussion.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>The lesson itself wasn't difficult to understand. The entire idea of solving word problems involving charges became clearer and easier to understand as we answered more word problems. I believe it only became confusing sometimes because of the different components to consider (angle, charges, attraction or repulsion, Math concepts like Trigonometry and Pythagorean Theorem) and how to find the component/s trying to be found.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>I have no further recommendations to improve the delivery of the teacher. Since this involves problem solving rather than the explanation of concepts, I've been very pleased with the method of delivery from the start of the semester. The teacher makes sure to put it in layman's term when needed, and doing so makes the entire idea clear.</div>]]></description>

         <title>✷ WEEK 7: 0404 &amp; 0406 ✷</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. </strong>The discussions that revolved around the concepts within electricity made me interested, as they were concepts that we're very familiar with. Electric currents and circuits weren't new to us; they were discussed during our Junior High years in the TLE subject, and it was mostly easy to recall since the concepts and the memories I had from the past that revolved around the concept was still quite vivid. New concepts, such as the idea behind electrical resistance and the existence of resistors, made me invested in the lesson as I didn't know their functions beforehand.<br><br><strong>2. </strong>The discussions were engaging, because the teacher gave us more opportunities to interact and participate during the lesson through frequent questions. It also wasn't hard to follow, since the concepts were discussed using simple terms and they followed a simple flow as we proceeded with the lesson, which didn't make me feel overwhelmed despite the new concepts injected along the familiar ones.<br><br><strong>3. </strong>I didn't have difficulty in understanding the discussions within the said week. Since they weren't heavy on problem-solving and since the concepts weren't necessarily foreign or unfamiliar to us, I believe that I understood this lesson better compared to the previous week's discussions, especially since it tackled a completely different topic, which is electricity.<br><br><strong>4. </strong>I do not have any more recommendations to the teacher to improve the delivery of instruction. As I've mentioned, the use of layman's terms makes it incredibly easy for the students to understand even the most complex concepts and lessens the possibility of <em>feeling overwhelmed </em>as the lesson continues, and the flow of the lesson, particularly the order of the concepts as the discussion advances, is easy to follow and comprehend. I also greatly appreciate the teacher's enthusiasm to teach us to no end; he's always open to answering any questions, and he cracks jokes which livens up the mood during discussions and makes supposedly-tiring school days tolerable and fun.</div>]]></description>
